Our Story

The Company has been in business since 1978 and has grown to become a highly respected utility services provider to Abu Dhabi authorities.

1978

The parent company was founded in Abu Dhabi to supply industrial equipment.

1994

TAMAS Projects was established as a contracting subsidiary and awarded two sub-contracts for Construction of Pumping Station & AGL system.

1996

TAMAS quality management system was certified for ISO 9001

1997

Company was classified as “Second Category” contractor by Abu Dhabi Department for electrical, mechanical works and sewerage projects.

1998

Company activities were extended to Doha, Qatar and contract was awarded for AGL system at Doha Airport.

1999

A new joint venture was established with Brisbane City Council, Australia to undertake Operation & Maintenance contracts for Abu Dhabi sewerage system.

2009

Restructure and revamp the organization to align with growth and market expansion opportunities.

2010

TAMAS Construct company was added to develop the ITS activity in cooperation with Swarco, Europe.

2012

TAMAS/SWARCO ITS system was approved and awarded system integration & construction of MBZ ITS system.

2013

A new company was established in Doha to expand activities to the state of Qatar

2014

Extending company activities to include O&M of ITS for Tunnels and intersections.

2015

A new company was established in Dubai to expand activities to the Emirate of Dubai.

2021

Extending company Activities to Facility Management Services and award 4 years contract by Abu Dhabi Ports.

2022

Extending company activities to include Security systems for Industrial facilities in cooperation with ECSI, USA.
